Summer means freedom.

Well, maybe that’s not true for everyone. But The Michigan Daily Arts writers, typically confined to their beats, have the opportunity to write about anything and everything arts-related in the summer. Our Arts in a Minute series, based on the Digital Culture beat’s Digital Culture in a Minute series, was designed to facilitate a smooth transition for writers looking to explore outside of their beats. Given this liberty, the writers below have explored short stories, opening scenes, soundtracks, the summer and more!
